I can’t recommend CJ enough! After doing 3 other training programs in the area, I felt hopeless. I reached out to CJ as a last ditch effort, and I am SO glad I did. In just three sessions, the improvement in my dog’s behavior has been incredible. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive, and he takes the time to explain not only what to do, but why it works. He breaks everything down in a way that’s easy to understand, which has given me so much more confidence in continuing the training at home. What I appreciate most is that he makes the entire process fun and enjoyable for both me and my dog. Every session is productive, encouraging, and tailored to our specific needs. CJ completely changed our lives! Our dog was running our life, we were embarrassed taking him out in public and knew something needed to change. CJ listened to our concerns and created an individual plan for our dog. It is evident how deeply he cares about helping the owners and dogs succeed. Can't say enough good things about our experience with CJ over the past few months! We showed up with a challenging dog that was getting increasingly difficult to handle the older he got and are finishing our program with a dog that is much more manageable and unbelievably calmer in his day to day life. CJ's knowledge and approach helped out Roshi tremendously but also helped my husband and I understand the tools we need to help Roshi beyond the program. We've come a long with Roshi with CJ's support. We learned a lot from CJ and feel good about our ability to handle Roshi significantly more than just a few months ago. I happily recommend CJ to anyone needing any type of support with their dogs!

Highly Recommend! CJ has a unique ability to understand dogs and provide multiple solutions to get to the correct end state. We had a very timid dog with extremely bad habits (Counter surfing, jumping on people when entering the home, hyperactive walking, squirrel enthusiast, etc.). After 7 weeks of training once a week, all problems have been resolved and we can walk and play with confidence in public settings! Additionally, the weekly accountability was engrained into our families routine to help our dog to continue to stay on track. Working with CJ at Intelligent K9 is worth every bit of the time and investment.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with the progress our dog Luna has made after completing 5 of 7 private training sessions in the “Transform Your Dog in 49 Days” program with CJ and Intelligent K9 Training! Before starting, walks were a nightmare—Luna was hyperactive, nervous, and hard to control, especially around other people and dogs. Now, she walks calmly by our side and stays composed in situations that used to overwhelm her. At home, she has learned to stay in place and wait patiently, follows commands, and behaves much better now when we have company, which has made our lives so much easier. We have learned how to effectively communicate with Luna, and our bond with her has grown so much stronger. She has gone from being strong-willed and chaotic to calm, well-behaved, and responsive to structure—all while remaining the sweet, loving dog we adore.
