FirstBarkShelly is awesome! She is always so very patient with my dog, Sophie and with me. I wasn’t sure my wild 20 month old doodle would be able to retain any of the commands. Sophie “graduated” yesterday and I’m ecstatic at how well she is doing! I recommend everyone and their pups to train with Shelly!

What training equipment do you use?
We try to be extremely versatile when it comes to our training practices. This can include treats, toys, a variety of leashes and long lines, as well as e-collars. We approach every training scenario with the end in mind and will utilize the tools, methods, and equipment that will best help you to achieve your goals.

Is my dog old enough or too old to be trained?
The old adage (you can't teach an old dog new tricks) simply does not hold water. While motivations may change and habits may be hard to break- every dog is capable of growth, regardless of age. We are happy to work with every dog and owner of all ages, and while our training practices and programs may look different, we strive to help all owners see progress through training.

Eric worked with my service pup, River, and I cannot sing his praises enough. In a short 2 weeks my pup came home a different dog which speaks VOLUMES to Eric’s skill, patience, and fluency with dog training. My entire experience with him was far beyond anything I could have anticipated following making the decision to send my dog to get some extra help (which I was weary about) but Eric made the entire experience anxiety free and seamless. From the first point of contact, Eric was receptive and very diligent in learning about River and what my long term goals were with her. He tackled EVERY obstacle I brought up during his time with her and ensured she would be set up for success with me as a service dog team. At only 7 months old, she is as close to perfect as a pup can get. Throughout my entire experience with Eric, I received daily updates and KNEW my pup was in good hands - this was especially evident when I saw the two of them working together at the handoff. I would, in a heartbeat, recommend Eric to any and everybody looking to get some extra help with their dogs. And to all of the service dog handlers out there - look no further.

We’ve used Shelly at Integrity K9 Trainers before with our female Doberman & now our Rotweiler puppy. Our Doberman was about 18 months old when we got her & had spent most of her life in a crate. Shelly helped us socialize her and helped her build her confidence all while learning obedience. With our Rotweiler puppy she once again, taught us how to help him with his obedience & become a well mannered & much loved member of our family. Shelly is patient, gentle, kind, & has a genuine passion for animals. There is no doubt she enjoys working with dogs and their humans! She took her time explaining & demonstrating the techniques & commands so that we could replicate it at home. Whether you want to do weekly lessons or a board & train for your four legged friend, you won’t be disappointed! She comes highly recommended by us, Holly & Tex!!

Shelly, at Integrity K9 Trainers, was awesome to work with! She not only worked wonders with our Percy, she made sure we were trained, as well. She took time to answer all our questions, sometimes multiple times, and made sure we understood the “why” for everything she did.
