Integrated K9 Solutions

We got Enzo in 2022 when he was about 7-8 months old. When we picked him up, we could immediately tell that he had been through what no dog should in his first few months. It took a very long time for him to trust us and our other 3 dogs. He was very skittish, afraid of every little thing, wary of being touched, and liked to be by himself at first. This was the first dog we had ever had like this, so we kept him home and he got stuck in his ways. He is now dog and people aggressive, very very hard-headed, has very bad anxiety, trust issues, literally any quality you can think of; he has it. He only ever trusted my boyfriend and I, and our other 3 dogs. We never even thought about giving up on him because he is one of our babies, but if we would have brought him to any other trainer or vet, they 100% would have wanted him euthanized. I found Paul on Facebook, got in contact with him, and booked Enzo for a 3-week board and train which he ended up having to stay another week for because of how mentally unstable, and almost un-trainable, he was, but Paul never gave up on him or us. We then did 2 months of private lessons with Paul every weekend, and slowly but surely, he is getting better. We still have a long way to go with him, but if you could’ve seen him 3 months ago vs. right now, he is a completely different dog. I honestly couldn’t recommend Paul enough. He has been the best mentor, helped guide us when we didn’t know what Enzo’s future looked like, and never gave up on us. It has been a hell of a journey to get where we are now, and we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for him. If you are looking for the best, you’ve found it!

It is such a freeing feeling to have well behaved dogs. They are nowhere near perfect, but they really do make me proud. Sabre is 15 months, and boy did she make me work to get to where we are now. Around 6 months she started showing reactive behavior (lunging, barking, pulling towards other dogs). At the time, I didn’t know what reactivity was or how to handle it. I just thought she was excited to see other dogs. Long story short, I found my way to Integrated K9 Solutions for help. It was the best decision I ever made. Here we are, 7 months later and the difference is night and day. Does she have an occasional outburst? Sure. Are they upsetting/embarrassing at times? Yes. But I’ve learned not to care. We have been on this journey for quite some time and I’m proud of my girl for working with me to continue to overcome this. One day I know the poodle jumping and lunging trying to get to her, won’t even phase her. But for now, we continue to work. Tex is just over four months and I think he might be my “soul dog.” He’s calm and goofy but very biddable and intelligent. He’s as food motivated as it gets, which is making training an absolute breeze. But the thing that I am loving the most is he is my shadow. He is so young, and has only been with us for a month and a half, yet the love he displays is indescribable. I am looking forward to seeing how he progresses over the next couple of months. It truly blows my mind that a puppy his age is catching on as quickly as he is. It is all thanks to our trainer, Paul (who I’m going to plug in the next little paragraph)! If you are a dog owner in the ATL area, I highly encourage you to reach out to Paul if you’re interested in getting to know your dog, working with your dog, and/or correcting certain behaviors. At the end of the day, we as humans humanize these creatures, and that’s truly where we go wrong. It has been an incredible journey working with Integrated K9 Solutions to mold these two into the dogs I know they can be, and in the process I have discovered a passion I didn’t know I had!

We cannot say enough good things about Paul and Integrated K9 Solutions. We started with him back in January 2024 with our Mini Aussie, Reba. At the time, she was just 6 months old and was a bit rebellious to training at home. Paul has helped Reba find herself and her confidence in this big bad world, while teaching us how to train a polite pup. We have since added a second Mini Aussie puppy to our family and we’re already introducing him to Paul and his training methods. We highly recommend Paul to anyone considering obedience for their puppy pals and learning how to make them respectable pups for you and your family.
