FirstBarkHeather is very knowledgeable. She really has the best interest of your dog in mind with everything that she does. She is collaborative & really listens to any concerns or questions you may have. She has given me the tools I need to handle 2 growing dobermans.

Heather is wonderful. She is great with me and my headstrong 7 month old English Springer Spaniel. She has shown me how to handle him and we are both learning a lot! She has given me great tips to deal with his “puppy brain”, and encourage him to learn to behave around humans and other dogs. I would recommend her to anyone that wants a better relationship with their pet.
Heather is truly amazing and has done wonders for our puppy!! Before going to heather our dog was scared and had a lot of anxiety but after the 6 week course she has done leaps and bounds better then we ever could’ve thought was possible for her.

We got Taco when he was six months old From his previous owner, who quickly realized a Doberman was not suited for the city. He Spent his first few months, mostly in daycare so he was really good around other dogs, but I think that constant stimulation created a bit of an overstimulated mind. He was the perfect dog in the house, but Trying to take him in the car or on walks in public he couldn’t calm himself and would cry and scream out of frustration wanting to see and play with everyone and everything. I found Heather when I reached out to a few Doberman groups for a good trainer to help Taco and myself become more confident and able to communicate with each other. when his training was complete, Heather had successfully taught both Taco and I how to communicate with each other and he is now a joy to bring out into public! She also got me confident in using the E collar, which now allows us to hike in the woods together.
Clear, concise and patient. These are the qualities you want and need from a trainer and they hit the mark on every point. My only regret is I didn’t go sooner!
