Indy’s Top Dog

I highly recommend training with Brandon! I enrolled my 5-month-old puppy in his obedience course, and we built a strong foundation for her. Brandon is extremely knowledgeable, provides clear structure, and does a great job reading each dog’s cues to adjust his approach. We’ve already seen improvements in heel/leash walking, place command, improved behavior with distractions, and overall demeanor. I’ll definitely be returning for training check-ins as my pup gets older.

I own Happy Tails Animal Rescue in Farmersburg IN. I follow a lot of rescues local and I saw Indy’s Top Dog working with Leann’s Rescue in Greenwood IN. We had an incident where one of our rescue dogs had bit a volunteer that was walking him because he was resource guarding a toy. I knew I had to get him into training and consistent 1/1 training if he had any chance of being adopted after a bite. Vinny came from a pretty rough situation in his prior home life (burns on head and life on a chain), so he didn’t know how to properly communicate. When I reached out to Bradon with Top Dog, he immediately called me to discuss his behaviors and needs and we decided the 3 week board and train would be the best option for him. Vinny just finished his 3 week training and was brought back and he met his new adoptive home. Bradon spent over an hour showing us what Vinny has learned and what his new owner needs to continue doing. He exchanged numbers with Vinny’s owner because he’s a life support of Vinny. Vinny was a completely new dog with his manners but was still his goofy self. Bradon supplied the E collar, raised bed, transportation and educated his new owners on all the tools so they are properly used. He truly gives his all to these dogs and for our first time ever using him, I will thrilled with the outcome. He gave Vinny a chance when a lot of trainers might have recommended euthanasia. Vinny and Happy Tails give Top Dog 10/10 stars!

I have had my rescue dog for about three years and was never able to get her on a leash, take her for walks, have her go upstairs in the house or get her into the car because she was extremely fearful. I was contemplating surrendering her when I saw the Indy’s Top Dog sign for dog training. Brandon, the owner and trainer, returned my calls, answered all my questions, and was upfront and honest with how specifically he could help my border collie. After over a month of having her in the board and train program, Mollie came back a different dog! I can walk her now, she follows me upstairs now, she gets in my car and I can finally take her to my parents house for visits. She is a transformed dog thanks to the loving and expert training Brandon provides to all the dogs he takes on. While she was in his care I received regular updates and videos on her progress. I highly recommend Indy’s Top Dog!

I cannot speak more highly of Brandon. The best example I can share about his expertise and dedication is that right from the moment he walked through our door to meet our Shepherd for the first time, he was evaluating, setting the tone and pace from the get go! He is ON IT and he knows how to meet your dog where he/she is to help them grow to where they need to be. We had our dog stay with Brandon for training and he was always very communicative, responsive to questions, pro-active with updates and all around did everything we could have ever wanted to feel reassured that our baby is on the best hands.
