Cindy was SUCH a pleasure to work with and such a huge help with our dog Tulip. She is so connected to canine experience and the embodiment of trauma and her counternormative approach was exactly what we needed to learn how to better hold space for our traumatized pup (puppy mill breeding and rescue trauma). Huge shifts due to her suggestions during just one session. Highly recommend for anyone working with a difficult case, especially if trauma is involved in any way.

We got a 3 year old Welsh corgi who did not get along with other dogs. After four visits with Cindy and two of her pups, Tucker (corgi) was like a new dog. He became more confident and had fun interacting with her dogs. Cindy is an amazing trainer and uses humor as well as common sense in training. She treats dogs as children and they in turn love her. I would recommend her highly. Working with her training our dog was a enjoyable experience.

Cindy Wilmot at Incredible Canines is an exceptional trainer. Our Portuguese Water Dog puppy is full of enthusiasm and his training has been a challenge. Cindy tapped right into his combination of high energy and sweetness and desire to please, and he is very quickly becoming the more mature canine presence we hoped for. Her philosophy of let dogs be dogs, don’t squelch their normal behaviors but work with them, without negativity or punishment, has worked well for us. We’ve boarded our puppy with her on several occasions. With her pack of 5 he is getting the socialization he didn’t get earlier and it has made a huge difference. I cannot recommend Cindy highly enough.
