Inclined Canine Academy

We enrolled our mini Aussie Ruby at Inclined Canine Academy for their six one day a week training program to help us walk her on leash and heel, Teach her and us to be able to handle her if we choose to take her for a walks around town and control her reactive behavior around dogs and distractions. We are very happy and feel we’ve had a successful experience with Inclined Canine and we’d like to thank the owners Keith and Kelsey, the wonderful trainer Adrianah, and team. We are very happy with the results and look forward to the pack walks and more classes! Inclined Canine is a lovely place to take your pet. They have a beautiful farm like atmosphere and lots of animals around. It’s a great experience. We loved it.

Great people and great program! We have some experience training dogs but with our new puppy we were never able to get him to be calm, we always saw it as just excess energy because he seemed happy all the time. During the initial transformation session Keith said it’s actually anxiety and so I watched him for the next week with that in my mind and realized he’s completely right. Their program starts by building the foundation to be able to train the dog by teaching them the art of doing nothing which then puts their brain in a state where they’re actually receptive to the training. I really liked the 6 week day train program as it involves you in the training so you actually learn how to train a dog. I’m now confident that the next dog we get I can use the same program by myself without any issues! They also show that they’re building a community rather than just running a business with the weekly pack walks and other events as well as being open to any questions or helping with problems once you’re done with the program which is awesome!

We cannot thank the entire team enough for their dedication. They truly took the time to understand our goals and provided incredible tips and tools that made a huge difference. Seeing how quickly our dog responded to the at-home training was amazing! We now feel completely confident to take him out in public. I 100% recommend Incline Canine Academy. They completely transformed how I approached training my formerly reactive dog, Artie. Before enrolling Artie in ICA's 6-week day train program, Artie was very reactive to other dogs. I avoided taking him out during busy hours in fear of him constantly lunging and barking at other dogs. However, Keith and the rest of his team at ICA provided me with the skills, knowledge, and support that transformed my life. Their approach is simple to learn and I felt supported the entire time. The ICA team always responded to my question in a timely manner and always took the time to check in with me before and after all of our training sessions. 6-weeks later, I have the confidence to take Artie anywhere, anytime. Their drop-off and pickup process was smooth and they always accommodated my schedule. I never had any worries leaving my best friend with them. 100% recommend!
