Amy and Kyara have given us a lot of training tools to use and have been able to help us get our dog from scared and reactive on the first class to being able to settle in a class of 5+ dogs and people out in the open. In Stride has been helping us with a reactive excitable dog ,these in- group classes have been very rewarding for us and our dog. Amy and Kyara are more than great trainers with dogs and coaching the owners , very patient and methodical. We couldn't ask for better results, highly recommended we are definetly continuing with other types of training.

Amy has done MOUNTAINS of research to develop the most gentle and effective methods for training dogs. She also provided us with book recommendations, videos, and lots of resource materials. She's very upbeat and funny, giving humorous voices to the dogs as she imagines what they're thinking/feeling. I highly recommend both her and her methods which stress positive reinforcement and exclude aversive training methods. No "BAD DOG"! No PUNISHMENT! No SHOCK COLLARS! No PRONG COLLARS! Just kindness, which is what every dog (and every living, sentient being) deserves. She's patient and understands behavioral issues and how to best address them.
Amy and Kyara are such wonderful, caring and knowledgeable dog trainers. They have been helping us rehabilitate our rescue dog Dash for the past 10 months. With their patient and kind guidance Dash went from being a scared and reactive dog and has blossomed info a fun-loving and confident dog. I can’t say enough good things about In Stride Dog Training - we highly recommend them!
