In-line K9 Academy

Finding Brittany at In-Line K9 Academy changed the trajectory of our dogs life for the better. We have a two and a half year old Pit Bull , Cleo, who had severe separation anxiety and reactivity on the leash. We tried our best to stay on top of it but nothing we were doing really made an impact. That is until we met the wonderfully patient Brittany. We decided to do the 10 day boot camp program and at the end we got back a whole new dog. Brittany built up Cleo’s confidence and taught us how to incorporate daily activities to further Cleo’s training. Cleo can walk confidently on a leash and no longer feels the need to react to people and other dogs on walks. In the past Cleo has broken out of many kennels and chewed on every door frame in the house; however, we feel safe leaving her at home now as she is crate trained. We can’t recommend In-Line K9 Academy enough.

My dog has had issues walking or being near other dogs since he was a pup. I have always been really worried and hesitant to take him places because he is a pit bull/lab mix, and although he’s friendly with people, he would growl at other dogs. When my mom found In-Line K9 academy and spoke to Britt, we knew this was the right fit for my dog. I signed my dog up for a 6 week board and train program. Britt kept me updated and posted pictures and videos of my dog’s progress. I also received an at home lesson about how to continue the training for my dog. And did a few more lessons in a park setting walking around with other dogs. My dog no longer reacts and gets out of control when we’re on our walks or hikes. His obedience improved tremendously, and his overall anxiety has gone down. I learned how to control and train him and provide him what he needs when he perceives things as a threat or he is in fear. I would highly recommend Britt and her staff for any training needs. She has an amazing set up and is very knowledgeable and passionate about each and every dog she comes in contact with. She builds great relationships with her clients and stays in touch with them. I plan to keep training with Britt in the future! Thank you In-Line K9!

Let me just start by saying that Brittany is an absolute dog whisperer, and I don’t even have enough words to describe how thankful we are to have found her!! To understand just how incredible she is, I need to write a long review, so buckle in. Our rescue dog had grown incredibly reactive to other dogs, men, and strangers in general, and he was suffering from extreme separation anxiety. It was getting to the point that not only could we not take him on any walks or anywhere outside of his yard, but he also couldn’t be left alone for more than a few minutes without going into full panic. I had had a previous training experience that created more issues than it solved, and was absolutely terrified to call another trainer. I put it off for way too long, until I absolutely could not anymore. We finally called Brittany on the recommendation of a friend, and she immediately set us up with a consultation. Once we met, she took time to explain why our dog was having these issues, how we fix them, what her program looks like, and answered our never ending list of questions and concerns. Once we knew she was a good fit for our boy, she was able to fit him into her stay and train program less than a week later so he could be with her while we moved and be able to come into our new home without any of his prior associations. He was with her for 10 days and came back to us a different dog! He’s substantially more calm, collected, and we’re finally able to bring him out into the world. Brittany was super communicative with us the entire time, and made sure to set the expectation that now that he’s home, there’s still work to be done, and she’s been by our side to answer questions and help us tweak our lifestyle to support our boy through his settling back into life at home. We seriously could not have asked for a better trainer. Brittany’s passion and knowledge are priceless, she’s genuinely a caring compassionate person, and I would entrust my dog to her time and time again. If you have any doubt in your mind, or you’re afraid like I was, take this as your sign to give her a call and at least meet with her. I promise you won’t regret it!
