In Home Dog Training

We met RD when our newly-adopted 8 month old puppy hit a boundary-pushing phase. We had three small kids in the house and needed to know how to work through the rebellious phase. We were committed to our dog but also needed help. I will never forget what RD said: "this is a mama dog in training. Give her time. She will be a wonderful mama dog to your family." A year later, our almost-2 year old dog is just that and more. I lie next to her on the couch most evenings after the kids are asleep and thank our lucky stars that we met her ... and that we met RD.

We adopted a dog from an organization RD works with. Within a few weeks, we were struggling with issues around dog aggression and her nipping our kids when they ran around and otherwise acted like kids. We were losing hope that the adoption would work out. The adoption group offered to have RD come to our house and see what she could do. She did an AWESOME job training us (as usual, the issue was the people more than the dog). In just a month of work, things have completely turned around. RD really understands both people and pets. She is firm, fair and explains the reasoning behind her training methods very clearly. We told the adoption group they should start calling her "Real Deal." We couldn't recommend her more.

RD came for a session in our home so she could really see our environment and kids and how we all interact with our animals. I had a list of things to address with the addition of a new puppy into our mix and she was able to address every single thing on the list. And it all made sense! Every time she said something I had a lightbulb moment too! She is a natural and we are so glad she was able to come help us. I highly recommend her!
