In Home Dog Training

There is no better dog trainer than RD at In Home Dog! She is so knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and tailors each lesson to your dog's needs. She ensures you are getting the maximum amount of value for each session. I love how she gives reasoning for each training tip and infuses dog psychology into it as well. We not only did weekly training lessons, but also sent our puppy to the Board & Train, and she came back so well behaved!

Ohhh wow!! RD is amazing! My partner and I want to move in together but he has two cats and my dog has historically been AWFUL with cats. After three sessions with RD, two of which with a tens collar, not only could he tolerate being in the same room as the cats but he was pretty relaxed and content to snack on his kong while they were there. He gave off such a chill vibe that the cats felt comfortable wandering around and didn't run away and hide like we expected. RD always set us up for success by 1) explaining exactly what we were going to do before we started; 2) keeping us calm (I was def very anxious about my pup being loose in a room with cats) and pointing out all of the things that were working, encouraging us to do more; and 3) giving us "baby steps" to work on between sessions to keep the momentum going. Her feedback was also super positively oriented and helpful. She is clearly so knowledgable about all things both dogs and cats and their behaviors and how they are communicating through their actions and body language. Every session we learned so much that we could apply to our every day interactions with my pup. I cannot recommend RD enough!

Most people take their dogs to fetch. It's not gated, so I'd suggest keeping your dog on a leash if they don't have a strong recall. It's quite a small place, I usually wait if there's more than one person playing fetch with their dog, as there's not enough room for three. Maybe if you all agree to a designated are. I'm mostly there to play fetch with my dog, tire him out and leave. This place is perfect for that. If, you want a park that's gated, and want your dog to play with other dogs. I'd suggest Hondo Dog Park, or Orenco dog park that are nearby.
