When I got my dog, I had him in some basic training at Petco, but I wanted to take him a step further. When I met Arianna, I knew this was a good fit. She’s truly personable, hard-working, and talented at what she does. My dog is truly a different dog from all of her help and guidance. She is nothing but kind and patient with the owners and dogs! She has definitely changed our lives for the better. I have nothing but positive things to say about her and all her hard work. She truly cares for the animal & Their well-being. I would highly recommend her to anybody that wants to train their dog. Her methods work And it truly sets you and your dog up success for life

I’ve known Ariana for almost a decade, and for almost that entire time I’ve told her, “Whenever I finally get a dog, you’re training it.” It took years and years, but eventually my dream dog basically fell directly into my lap. The second I found out Relay was coming home, I texted Ariana: “She’s coming to you whenever you want her, but what do I do to keep her from being an asshole until then?” And thus began Relay’s journey toward becoming a certified good girl. Before Relay was even old enough to go to what I lovingly called “the Academy,” Ariana spent months giving me tips and tricks to build a stable foundation at home. Then Relay headed off to Ideal Dog Training for three weeks of good girl school. On the final day, it was my turn. Ariana trained me on how to maintain everything Relay had learned, keep her accountable, and make sure she stayed eager to listen and learn. Needless to say, we both graduated. Now that Relay is home, I can’t overstate how valuable the training has been. She is quite possibly the world’s friendliest dog. In Relay’s mind, every living thing desperately wants to meet her. A dog a mile away? Best friend. A person riding a bike who hasn’t even noticed her? Obviously dying to say hello. A butterfly floating by? Potential lifelong friendship. I never wanted to change that part of her. I love that she’s sweet, social, curious, and thinks the entire world is her friend. What I needed was for her to understand that paying attention to me has to come before everything else. I didn’t want the friendly dog who jumps on everyone. I didn’t want the excited dog who ignores me and runs toward the road. And I definitely didn’t want her enthusiasm for making a new friend to send her running up to a dog that might not feel the same way. That’s what makes the training Ariana and Ideal Dog Training provide so important. It isn’t about taking away your dog’s personality. Relay came home every bit as goofy, loving, and social as she was when she left. The difference is that now we have the communication and structure that allow her to be herself safely. There’s also something incredibly reassuring about knowing that the person you’re trusting with your dog genuinely cares about them and their success. I trusted Ariana before Relay ever existed, and after seeing what she’s done with her, I understand even more why. So, after nearly a decade of saying Ariana would train my hypothetical future dog, I can officially say it was worth the wait. Relay went to the Academy. We both graduated. I’ve got my certified good girl home. And yes, she still wants to be friends with the butterfly. She just listens to me before chasing it now. If you’re considering professional training for your dog, especially if you want a dog who can still be completely themselves while also being safe, attentive, and enjoyable to take out into the world, I couldn’t recommend Ariana and Ideal Dog Training more.

We highly recommend Ariana for dog training. After trying other do trainers, I can say Ariana has a structured approach to training that works. She helped teach me behavior medication techniques for our Malinois using an e collar. She made the sessions manageable and focused on day to day things that our family needed like place and proper walking techniques. Her guidance has made having visitors in our home manageable and has given me confidence that I can keep our Mal comfortable in a variety of situations. By the end of training, we mastered Home Depot, the beach and even the mall.

I contacted Ariana to help with my sweet but stubborn boy, he completed his 3 week board and train with her. I knew I picked the right person for the job when I saw how she interacted with him, she gained his trust on his terms and didn’t rush the process, I now have the right tools to continue all the hard work and dedication she put into him. Ariana has been great even after with communication along with giving me tips daily for our boy!
