My husband and I have two rescue dogs and both presented severe challenges when we encountered people or dogs outside of our home, as well as anytime we had people over. We were referred to IBK9 and quickly scheduled a consult. They answered all of our questions and immediately made it very apparent just how passionate they are about the work they do. Despite the shock of the price, we knew that IBK9 was the right choice!! Throughout the training process, they kept us in the loop as to the progress both dogs were making and once we began to attend training sessions, it was obvious to see that their program works. Most of our interactions were with Kristen and our trainer Julie, but everyone we encountered at the facility were friendly and showed a deep care for the dogs being tended to. After a few weeks of our dogs being there, we realized that IBK9 was worth every dollar they charged and more. Since coming home after 8 weeks there, our dogs have shown incredible improvement. They now have the confidence they need to handle various situations in and out of the house. Whats really fantastic is that my husband and I now have the adequate tools and understanding of how to deal with any challenges that arise. We regularly follow up with IBK9 to let them know how the dogs are doing or if we have any questions. We definitely plan to take part in the classes they offer their past clients free of charge to continue making even more progress. We are so happy that we found IBK9 and we can't thank them enough for the life changing services they provided to us. I was a customer for both training and boarding starting in 2023. My dog was scheduled to board in May and I pre-paid (as required) for the stay. Unfortunately prior to boarding dates, my dog killed another pet and was rehomed under emergency circumstances. I quickly contacted IBK9 to cancel his stay and request a refund, explaining the circumstances. I was told they are not required to refund but Kristen would submit my request for review. I have spent MONTHS CHASING DOWN AN UPDATE (I've called, emailed and texted), receiving no response, delayed responses and multiple excuses/delay tactics. On July 18th Kristen texted that she would refund me 'personally' via Zelle (same day - see photo). Not only have I still not received any refund, I continue to get excuse after excuse. This is NO WAY to run a business. I understand the refund is not required but the business AGREED TO IT. I will never take other pets to the business or recommend them to anyone because of this. Verbal contracts in Arizona are binding and apparently I'll be taking them to small claims court next - this all could have been avoided if they'd kept their word.

UPDATE - Someone called me right after I left this review. We chatted and she provided me info on training. Will update this review again if I decide to train with them and after training is completed. A week ago I requested a call back for an evaluation of my rescue dog. Now it’s a week later and I have not heard anything back from anyone! I understand they only take 20 dogs per month for training, but geez…no one can even call me?!?!
