Victoria with Hunter Mill Retrievers took care of our dogs this weekend. It was the first time we had to leave our puppy and she was so patient and kind with both of them. From the first meet and greet, our dogs were in love. We booked for a few drop in visits. She kept us updated with pictures. We felt completely confident that our dogs were well cared for. Will definitely use them again!

After a comforting and informative introduction/evaluation, we bought a 10-class package through Victoria at Hunter Mill Retrievers. She was flexible with our crazy schedule (two working parents and two busy kid-activity schedules to work around). She was proactive in helping us identify issues we wanted to work on for each session. She met us at our house, went for walks, met us at other (busier) locations, all in an effort to encourage the behaviors we wanted in different situations. She was very positive and calm, and our one-year old pup adores her. He would do anything for her, and it's a delight to watch. Most importantly, Victoria trained US (well, me really) so that we could encourage the proper behaviors ourselves. Our pup's walking skills and socialization have dramatically improved, and we won't hesitate to work with her again if/when we reach our next training hurdle. Thanks for all of your help, Victoria!
Victoria has brought tremendous self-control and confidence to my ‘wild child’ Bernedoodle. We’re so lucky to have found her! She has had profound insight and instinct in bringing my 8-month-old pup into a calmer and more disciplined state of mind.
