Hunter Canine Dog Training

I am so grateful for Taylor and what she has done for our family! Our German Shepherd, Bubba, was fearful, anxious, and reactive, becoming more unpredictable and volatile as the years went on. He had a bite history with us, but nothing we didn’t bounce back from until one particularly scary experience that told us we needed a professional to help save his life and ours. Hunter paired Bubba up with Taylor, and from the intake to his recent return, she has been the most amazing guide and trainer for all of us. She was super clear on what to expect, helping us prep, and consistently communicating throughout the process. At the mid-point, the change is Bubba was obvious. He was comfortable being pet, his recall was immediate, and he had a confidence in himself that I had never seen. Before he returned home to us, Taylor trained us and set us up for success in implementing all of the lessons he’s learned over the 6 weeks. She was patient and comprehensive, answering questions whenever we had them and helping us talk through scenarios and situations that might happen at our home. Bubba has returned home with us, and the change is his demeanor is inspiring. All we ever wanted was for him to be happy and comfortable, no anxiety and fear and he has never been so relaxed as he is now. Some examples to share: he always pulled on walks, but walking him now, you would never know. He now walks with a constant loose leash, unless he’s working where he holds a heel, which I never dreamed would be a thing. He asks for pets (not common before - he wanted love but didn’t know how to accept it), his recall is unreal, happy to be in his crate, practiced at self soothing, and not reactive to old triggers like strangers and bikes. We walked just today, and a motorcycle rode by without him even perking his ears up when he would’ve lunged before. Taylor tailors her program to the unique needs of each animal, and has brought out Bubba’s true, goofy, happy personality while teaching him tools to manage his emotions. She obviously is something special to be able to know and adapt to each dog, and I trust her expertise implicitly. And she’s STILL answering our questions. She’s dedicated, professional, and passionate, and our lives are changed because of her! Taylor and Hunter Canine are miracle workers. They are trustworthy, communicative, and will address the root cause of the issues with your dog in a way that lasts a lifetime.

We cannot thank Chloe and Hunter Canine enough for taking such good care of our bernedoodle Hank while he was at his B&T. From the initial consultation to the meetup and pickup, the process was seamless. Chloe is a magician when it comes to training dogs! We are so pleased with everything Hank learned in his time with Chloe. We were skeptical at first, not sure how Hank would do.. but we were wrong! He is a new dog in the best way! While he was with her, she sent us very detailed updates with a lot of pictures and videos. Even after bringing Hank home, she has been extremely responsive and helpful with anything we need. We are so grateful to have found this training and would highly recommend both Chloe and the Hunter Canine business as a whole!

Professional from start to finish , was worried about what’s best for the dog . Spent the time with A virtual interview and then a in person interview to judge the situation.. Excellent experience will be doing Board and Train in march and look forward to the experience…. UPDATE : BIG BIG BIG THANKS TAYLOR … Dog aggression, nervousness to the point we couldn’t take a walk … Now he loves walks, no pulling, listening to commands and he even played with a dog for the first time ever … This experience was amazing, can’t recommend this enough…Regular updates on progress with videos and she even spent unlimited time with us week 3 and when she brought him home going over commands and answering questions

I just want to say THANK YOU to Taylor at Hunter Canine for taking such amazing care of my 5 year old English Bulldog. I brought my dog to Hunter Canine originally for dog aggression, reactivity and needing basic training. Taylor was wonderful and took the time during our meet up to go over tricks, tools and helpful cues to ensure mine and my dogs safety when we are walking on and off leash. At my go home appointment Taylor dropped my boy off at my house and spent HOURS with me going over everything he has learned and how to implement it at home. She took time to talk, answer questions and physically walk me through everything. I could not have asked for a better experience! My bulldog adores her as well which was the best confirmation for me that she loves each dog she trains like they are her own. I have seen a world of difference in my dog since coming home from training. I can't thank the team enough!
