Hunter Canine Dog Training

I have tried multiple trainers, diets, supplements etc. to support my rescue dog, Sampson, due to resource guarding and attacking my partner and other dog. With a new baby at home, it was critical I found someone that could actually help because I was being told to rehome my dog at that point. I met Hunter through dog rescue with my first dog years ago and put myself on the live and train waitlist and I am SO grateful. Sampson stayed with Hunter for 4 weeks and has been reintegrating back home successfully. Hunter still offers support with any of my questions and still checks in on Sampson's progress. I wish I sent Sampson earlier instead of trying so many other things that never worked. Sampson looked so happy in all of his videos and when I would go visit him in DE (we're in NJ). Thank you Hunter for saving my sanity and keeping my boy home <3!!

Our dog Maverick completed a 6 week live and train with Hunter about a month and a half ago, and today was our last integration lesson. To say we are blown away by the results of Hunter Canine would be an understatement! We adopted Maverick just over a year ago and shortly after we brought him home he began showing severe fear aggression behavior. He was terrified of absolutely everything and everyone. We could not have him around other people or other dogs due to his explosive reactivity and bite risk. We worked with two different trainers to try and fix the issues we were having, and while we made some progress we still could not remedy Mav’s reactive behavior, especially when he was around Mike and I. We even put him on an anxiety medication as a last resort. We were devastated at the thought of never having Maverick around friends or family, or even be able to walk him around the neighborhood without issues. Thankfully we found Hunter Canine. Hunter has completely transformed Maverick. He has taken our terrified reactive dog turned him into the happy playful DRUG FREE boy he deserves to be. Since coming back home Mav has successfully been introduced to new people. He goes on walks around the neighborhood and to the park without issues. He plays with other dogs. Most importantly, he is happy! Hunter has taught Maverick that it is okay to trust the world, and he has taught us how to trust Maverick. In working with Hunter over the past six months it was clear that he put his all into working with Mav and forming a solid bond with him. He has always been transparent in managing our expectations — safe to say our expectations have been exceeded. We will be forever grateful to Hunter and his team, they’ve truly change our family’s life 🩵
