Huffman K9 Obedience

Had a strange experience with them a few years back with my previous dog. One of the trainers was very unprofessional and made inappropriate sexual comments about my dog...it was so weird. I obviously never made a second appointment with them but I now have a new rescue and am looking for a decent trainer...these folks NAH- if you are looking to train a police or military dog- sure but they wont get their hands on my malinois shepard mix elsewhere

UPDATED review for Huffman K9 A year ago, I couldn’t even have Bronco near my chickens—he had killed two, and I truly questioned whether I could handle owning a dog like him. I wasn’t sure if I had the time, skill, or energy to put in the work he needed. Fast forward to now, and the transformation has been incredible. Yesterday, Bronco calmly laid in the yard surrounded by chickens—completely relaxed and in control. He doesn’t even give them a second glance. I can trust him around them, even when I’m not there. The photo attached says it all: a baby chick perched calmly on top of his head. That’s the kind of dog he is now. Thank you, Huffman K9, for not only transforming Bronco but for teaching me how to be a better dog owner and handler. Your training has made all the difference. I’ve been working with Huffman K9 for obedience training with my 3-year-old German Shepherd, Bronco, and I couldn’t be more impressed! Jensen, the owner and our trainer, has been incredible to work with. He does an amazing job not only training Bronco but also teaching us how to handle some of his challenges. One of Bronco's struggles is his vocal nature, especially in high-stress situations, but Jensen has helped us learn how to calm him down and reduce his stress levels. We’re so grateful for the support Jensen provides, especially since he works with his own three Belgian Malinois, which gives him great insight into different dog behaviors. It’s clear he has a deep understanding of dogs and how to address their needs effectively. I would highly recommend Huffman K9 to anyone in need of dog training—Jensen is a true professional, and I’ve seen so many others have success working with him. I’m so happy with the progress we’ve made and appreciate everything Jensen has done for us!

We were recommended Huffman by a friend and were a little hesitant at first mainly because the drive was over an hour from where we live…but every session was absolutely worth the trip! Our trainer Allen was fantastic with our pup Sophie. He helped us get her to be less reactive toward other dogs and explained each step of the training in an easy to understand way that applied to everyday situations. His deep knowledge of dog behavior and psychology really showed, and we loved how he tailored the training to Sophie’s specific needs rather than taking a one size fits all approach. We would 100% recommend Allen and the Huffman team to anyone looking for effective training while getting a better understanding of their dog!
