Huffman K9 Obedience

When my husband and I first got our Doberman Lulu, we had no idea how crucial it was to work with highly qualified trainers. We both grew up with dogs, but she is the first we’ve had as a pup and have had to raise. Our initial goals for her were to be able to take her almost every where & have a dog that is confident, loving, and obedient. In our naivety, we went to Petsmart training because it was affordable. When that wasn’t helping, we moved to a local trainer with decent reviews. That helped a bit but we just weren’t making progress to our liking. Lulu is a very smart dog, she’s a quick learner, if anything it was us as owners not having the right tools. Our biggest struggles we’re leash walking and reactivity to other dogs. We did more research and decided to make the investment in Huffmans training and let me tell you, we are SO grateful. In just three sessions (2 including our consult), we have made tremendous progress with Lulu. We have so many more tools to help communicate with her effectively and as a result, I think all three of us are happier. We still have more sessions to go, but I am just so pleased with our progress I had to leave a review. The trainers are knowledgeable and approachable. We’ve worked with Brooke, David, and Jared at this point and all three have been so good to us and make training feel so doable. In hindsight, it would’ve been great if we started with Huffman from day one.
