We were referred to Adam from another trainer in the area and feel so fortunate that we were able to work with Adam. We did an 8 week package of private lessons. Our dog, Archie, had behaviors that were starting to escalate and I was worried he might not be safe with our kids. Adam helped us understand our dog and gave us the skills and knowledge so we can keep our dog with confidence. Adam was clear with his communication, consistent with training and incredibly knowledgeable. Archie was “fence fighting” with the neighbor dog, too protective when visitors came over and starting to become wary of our kids’ sporadic outbursts. Adam helped us understand our dog’s behaviors and taught us how to extinguish the behaviors through obedience and training. Adam was always willing to explain and re-explain training strategies and techniques. We can’t recommend Adam enough! We are so happy with the results of the training sessions and our dog continues to grow every day.

I enrolled my 3 year old dachshund mix Zazu for the 3 week board and train program. Zazu was a very reactive and insecure dog that needed some help with his confidence. Throughout the 3 weeks, Adam kept me updated about how Zazu was doing and the progress he was making. Zazu is now back home and doing better than ever. He is more calm. Adam also gave me so much guidance and taught me how to properly correct Zazu’s bad behaviors. I am able to take him out without having to worry about him barking and reacting to other people or dogs. If you’re looking for obedience training for your dog, Adam is definitely the way to go. You can tell how much Adam cares for these dogs and he is very knowledgeable.

Adam is the best! The transformation in our dog’s behavior and obedience was amazing! When we brought both of our 10 months old German Shepherds to Adam, Indy and Rocket were unable to go anywhere in public. They were distracted, could not walk on a leash and never came when we called them. We sent both pups to him at the same time for a 14 day training. When our dogs returned, we were truly impressed with the work that had been done! We often take the dogs with us when we head out and about. We are confident that they will behave and be obedient, and they are such a pleasure to be around. We ALWAYS get compliments on how well our dogs are trained and of course we always spread the good news of Adam at How 2 Dog! Thank you sooo much Adam!
