Real training and real results when you put in the work. Started the Obedience Foundations when my dog was a few months over 1 yr old. We worked with other places before and none compare to this. No more bribing my dog with treats on walks or being stressed that she will lunge or bark at other dogs. I have gained confidence in handling my dog in public because of the training and I think my dog is more confident as well!

Josh and team are excellent at what they do. We took our young Corgi, Millie, there for a board and train session back in the fall. Millie had really bad agression around resource guarding and was generally hard to control. We went to a a different trainer before Josh for an evaluation, and they refused to even work with her based on her resource guarding. But Josh isn't afraid of a good challenge. Once Millie came back from the board and train, she was almost a completely new dog. Through lots of hard work and group classes, she is now the most well behaved dog I've ever owned. And best of all, she no longer shows signs of agression. There is a lot of work to do still, and you have to do your part in order to get the results you want. That being said, I'm happy to keep advancing through the courses with Houston Dog Works. Thanks Josh!
