This location offers boarding, board&train and daycare and dayschool for all types of dogs, even cautious dogs. For private lessons and classes, please see our Training Center at 416 Fillmore St. Our goal is to strengthen the bond between you and your companion animal. We believe in the natural science of behavior. Our training and behavior change programs are geared towards real-world behavior engineering, making it more efficient and effective. We identify the actual (verifiable) causes of behavior, changing the behavior rather than suppressing the behavior. We pride ourselves on staying educated and current on all the newest developments and training methods so we may better serve you and your companion animal.

How long do the pups spend crated for a 4 hour stay ?
It depends on the puppy. Play time is 5min- 15min each time and they play several times. If you sign up for dayschool it includes 10min of B&B pup club which is a course they do by themselves and they also get 30min of training. If they are shy or get overwhelmed at first they come out often but get several brakes. We are installing cameras here soon. I hope this helps.

What days are your classes?
They have classes every day, just depends on what classes your looking for. On their website, if you go to register now it shows all upcoming classes with the dates, times and prices. If there is a class you want that you don't see in their upcoming classes list, let them know, you could be the one more person they were waiting for to express interest before offering that class.

I love this place! I dropped my dog off for a,meet and greet and then a 1/2 day. I love that they get breaks and appropriate supervised playtime. The staff were amazing and very helpful and answered all my questions and gave a tour and explained how they do things. My dog has been through a lot of transition in the past year-and-a-half and I think this place will offer great playtime and also a great place for him to keep working on his basic obedience. I am very pleased with his experience there and he is excited to go back!
The staff at House of Dog is EXCEPTIONAL. They always take great care of my pup and I never have any worries/concerns utilizing their daycare of boarding services.

We absolutely love House of Dog Training. our five month old standard poodle, Winston, has learned so much already. I really appreciate their philosophy around positive, relationship-based training. Emory has been wonderful with him through both K1 and now K2. He is patient, kind, incredibly observant, and clearly understands dogs. One of my favorite things about his teaching style is how subtly he trains the humans, too. He is great at helping us notice our timing, body language, and cues so we can communicate more clearly with our dogs instead of simply expecting them to “behave.” We’ve seen such a difference in Winston, and training has genuinely helped us understand him better. We’re already looking forward to doing fun agility with Emory next. I can’t recommend House of Dog Training — and Emory specifically — highly enough. If you want thoughtful, positive training that strengthens the relationship between you and your dog, this is the place.
