Angus is a handful and I wasn't sure he'd cooperate with training at 6 months old. Kat assured me he was perfect for basic obedience class. And she was right. Kat noticed issues Angus was having and addressed them fully with great suggestions and individual support tailored for my and Angus's needs. Looking forward to social skills class in the new year! I had a very unruly and hard to manage Golden Retriever pup. Because she is a breeder and I’m a guardian home for her. I had to get her trained right away. We did the four private classes, and by the end of this training, I have a very different dog! I can take her places and she behaves, she listens to what I say, and we are on the right track! I highly Recommend Kat and Hounds Tooth Academy for anyone who needs help with training their dog. We are going to continue on in our lessons. This is a learning experience, not just for the dog, but for the owner! Kat is an excellent instructor and you will come away feeling like you are in control instead of your dog being in control.

We enrolled in the leash reactivity five week course at Hounds Tooth Academy and it has been a life changer! Ranger had a great foundation...his parents not too much with follow through!! Kat was fantastic and knowledgeable in her explanation of the causes of leash reactivity. When speaking to and working with each dog owner she displayed patience and confidence making the classes stress free. With her years of experience and expert guidance Ranger was able to successfully participate in a pack walk after just three weeks. We give Kat Carter five stars!
