Kat is a professional and knowledgeable trainer. I have put multiple dog through her obedience classes and have also had private sessions for issues with aggression and resource guarding. She is excellent at giving both the human and dog the tools they need to succeed. Kat is passionate about her clients and will make modifications and tailor suggestions to you and your dogs situation. Highly recommend!

I reached out about training and was told there were no new clients being accepted but she offered a phone consult. I feel incredibly uncomfortable with phone calls and said I would prefer communicating through text and email due to my work hours and my anxiety and was told that no legitimate trainer would do this and if i couldn't commit to even a phone call then i should just euthanize or rehome my dog. I was disappointed in the rudeness and the absolute lack of empathy for others in an uneccessary situation. Leaving it at "phone consults are our policy so we cannot accomodate" would have been sufficient, but to actually insult my commitment to my pet was cruel when I was nothing but kind in my messages back. Since she wouldn't take us as a client anyway, kindness would not have hurt in the slightest. I would not recommend this place for anything. Not if you are a person with feelings going through a tough time, or expect a level of friendliness and kindness. I would love to know what she would say to someone who is hard of hearing or does not speak english as a first language.

When we got our adult dog she hadn’t had any leash training. She was about 100lbs. Our daughter was about 90 lbs so, this 100 lb dog was literally dragging our daughter around. We went to Kat for help. After a few classes she was able to help with teaching my daughter to be in control of the lease. They graduated from the class together and still do well. Kat also gave us tips and tricks to helps with our dog to use for thunder storms. She used to be scared and would pace the house or dig on the floor. Kat’s tips were amazing and now she pretty much sleeps through every storm. They don’t phase her at all. Kat is good at what she does!!
