Hope Retrievers

We brought our new Labrador puppy, Buster Brown, to Hope Retrievers for puppy training last summer. He was a VERY energetic puppy, and did not listen to our direction ever. After puppy training we were able to take him for walks on his leash. We followed up puppy training with Obedience Training when he was 6 months old. Buster was a bit of a wild dog with a lot of energy, and I really wasn't sure that anything could be done to calm him. After attending obedience training, it was like a new dog arrived. He is still curious and has good energy, but he now listens and minds when given a command. We love taking him to see Kelli and Jordan - they are AMAZING with him.

We adopted a 3 year old dog from a shelter in Dallas, who didn't have any existing training. After the 6 week obedience program, he sits, comes when called, stays where he's told (even at a park off-leash), and even leaves the cat alone. Great experience, especially considering we had a challenging dog! Definitely purchase the same training collar that they use in the program, as it helps with the transition back to the home. We used it a lot the 1st day, but only occasionally by day 3.

I can't say enough good things about Hope Retrievers. They make the entire process smooth and exciting. We sent our Lab, Judge, to Kelli for hunt training and she turned him into a retrieving BEAST!! He's steady, patient, and so eager to perform. We also recieved regular updates, pictures, and videos. I couldn't be happier with the work Kelli has put into Judge. Hope Retrievers is hands down the Best!! We won't send our dogs anywhere else.
