Holt’s Training Academy

I had sent my German Shepherd to another trainer early last year and they trained her, but she was still so very hyper and had issues with her getting excited and jumping on people. We were adopting out two really young grandsons and was really worried about out 100 pound dog jumping on them and hurting them. I called up Holts Training Academy and they did wonders with her. It's been a couple months now and she doesn't jump on anyone. I can walk her in public without a leash and she obeys all her commands perfectly. She even goes into my chicken coop and doesn't even try to mess with the chickens. I'd recommend Holts Academy to everyone with 100% confidence they will do an excellent job.

Holt Training Academy was a game-changer for the development of obedience for our little Leo. We didn’t want to give our new little golden retriever puppy up for 6 weeks, but we knew we didn’t have the time to knock the puppy chew out of him and enforce obedience like we felt was what we wanted out of a family dog. Holt made it so seamless and easy. He trained him with microelectric educator collar and teaches you how to use it when you get your dog back. He also trains him to be able to walk beside you without a leash. He is a great communicator, and you can tell he loves his animals and cares about his clients. Great experience!

My goal was for my 1 year old lab to become a therapy dog. After doing lots of research and touring multiple facility’s, In my mind I kept coming back to Holts for some reason. It just felt right (I’m super picky and won’t leave my pup with just anyone). After speaking with Brant and his wife in person, I knew this was the right spot. It was during summer/fall season and their kennel areas were air conditioned. Which was important to me. They also let the dogs out for “play time” which was also important to me. Holts training academy made my therapy dream team come true. We now go and visit nursing homes, hospitals, children’s facility’s etc. If we ever get another pup, I will be sending it to Holts Training Academy. Spend the money- They really do love the dogs.
