I'm sorry you had a bad experience at our class. We inform students via email prior to the class and then during the class that dogs are not to get close to each other because some dogs do not like other dogs. So it is our rule to keep them separated. It's up to handlers to keep their dogs on a short leash so the dog is two feet to the handler and at least four feet from any other dog. The handler of the injured dog had a hard time following this rule. In the middle of class, she was taken aside and shown how to shorten the leash. After class, when she was approaching the trainer she let your dog come too close to another dog and the interaction happened. This does not excuse the accountability from the other dog but both parties have some responsibility for the incident. We observed only one injury to the dog. A minor scrape on the dog's lower lip and we spent at least ten minutes trying to get some cooperation from the handler, though she would not. We understand that the incident was scary but we were trying to have both dogs owners exchange contact information. She refused to give any information. Your review is somewhat misleading. Regardless, we hope the woman and her dog are okay. <br>
