Holistic K-9 Solutions

I brought my two dogs, Bella and Kona, to Marcus in August and he completed a thorough evaluation of them in order to provide the best possible training option. Over 8 Thursday nights, they were challenged with learning commands and thanks to the knowledge of Marcus and his staff, particularly Thomas, they did exceptionally well. Thomas was the main trainer that worked with them over the course of their time and truly understood each dog's personality and how to provide them the best possible training. I am beyond satisfied with how well the training went, and as Marcus told me in August, we were able to "take good dogs to great dogs". I would highly recommend anyone work with Holistic K-9 Solutions for any pet needs.

We finished basic training with Marcus and Thomas a few weeks ago, and our dog has made incredible progress since we started! She used to be so stubborn with commands and unmanageable on leash with all her pitty energy, but after training she is a totally different dog - much more confident and happy. Learning how to build trust with her and watching her transform into a loyal companion has been such a unique and fulfilling experience that was well worth the cost and effort!

Life Changing!!! Gone are the days of walking thru downtown Media or the park, saying “wouldn’t it be great if we could train our dogs to walk with us and listen politely without a struggle?” My husband and I and our two Labrador Retrievers; Lenny (120 lbs.) and Ollie (85 lbs.) recently completed the Week-Long Accelerator Training Program offered by Holistic K9 Solutions. The results we achieved were beyond expectation. The dogs learned over a dozen commands and are now eager and responsive to our instructions. They now even heel at our sides “off-leash” when out for a walk. It is such a joy to be able to bring them along with us and not be worried they will drag us around or run off. Prior to the training our biggest concern was getting hurt just taking them out for a walk given their size. It was virtually impossible to manage either of them on a leash. We were pretty skeptical that one week of training would yield these results. However, we were immediately impressed with our trainers Marcus and Thomas. By Day 3, we were on a field trip walking the dogs through the aisles of Barnes & Noble, Home Depot and TJ Maxx. And, get this, we were the ones walking the dogs while getting coaching from the trainers. Mind-blowing! Marcus and Thomas were both wonderful. They demonstrated exceptional patience with us and the dogs. Their coaching instilled us with the tools and confidence to fully integrate the dogs into our daily activities (brunch in Media, walks at Ridley or Rose Tree, etc). In addition, they answered all of our questions throughout the week and remain in close contact with us as questions have come up since we finished. Lenny and Ollie now follow us around and are eager to head out on our daily adventures. We have worked with other training methods in the past, but nothing has produced the impact that Holistic K9 Solutions had in just one week’s time. We unreservedly recommend this training.
