FirstBarkMeet Fern. She is a rescue who would not come near us for 3 months. Lisa worked with her &us. She now goes for walks, plays with toys and even learned how to bark. Just today I was told what a remarkable change they see in her "she is a real dog'

I have taken two classes from Hippie Dog: shed hunting and morel hunting. The classes welcomed my dog who is an unexpected breed (Brussels Griffon) for such training. The classes provided useful background information and thoughtful, positive training. I have been involved in training and competition in a wide range of canine sports for over 40 years, so I am pretty picky about trainers. I highly recommend Hippie Dogs to everyone who is looking for new ways to work with and have fun with their dog.
The initial consult is nice because they get to know you and your pet. The first session was also very positive. Excited and hopeful that my hyper dog will finally be trained. And I feel like I've been given the tools to be successful thus far

You can see how much the dogs are enjoying the experience, no tension or fear as with classes that use more aversive training methods. The space was large so that each dog and owner had sufficient space to work on skills without being right on top of other dogs. Highly recommend if you are looking to develop a strong, positive bond with your dog and want to train them the basics that all dogs and their owners should know.
