Hillary and her staff are wonderful! What a huge difference it made for my new puppy. I was afraid to leave him there the first day but it was fine from the start. They know puppies (and dogs)! During these weeks, he settled, learned how to listen, learned to COME (and fast), SIT, how to walk on leash, get along well with others and many other things. He is happier and we are happier. Hillary gave us all great start and lots of tips for handling things at home and with other animals. I give the highest recommendation!

Hillary & her staff are the best! They have an amazing approach to working with puppies - a perfect mix of loving affection and firm boundaries. Our puppy learned potty training and the commands for sit & down during her time at the Hound House. She is also very good at recall. We are so grateful to Hillary & her staff for helping us through our puppy’s earliest (& most challenging) stages. It was a huge help to us and provided a wonderful foundation for our puppy. We love Hillary’s Hound House. Our labradoodle puppy has been attending since he was 11 weeks old (he is now 10 months old) – he went through the Jumpstart program initially and now drops in for puppy playcare (and is super-excited to go there, every time). We came to the Hound House on a recommendation from a friend and are so happy we did. Although both my husband and I grew up around dogs, this has been our first experience of puppy parenting and the support and guidance we have received from Hillary, her team, and the other Hound House families continues to be invaluable. Hillary’s approach of training the dog and then their humans is fantastic – we attended all of her Saturday human-training classes as a family which meant that we all learnt the same things and could be consistent in reinforcing the training at home. Within a couple of weeks of starting the Jumpstart program, our pup was fully potty trained and had mastered recall. The value of the recall training was very clearly demonstrated to us after a backyard escape bid - after a moment of panicked looking up and down the street to see if I could spot our daring escapee, I tried calling him and he came sprinting right back to me. Hillary and her team are caring, patient and really committed to providing a safe, stimulating environment for dogs – they clearly love our dog and he loves them. I would definitely recommend Hillary’s Hound House to anyone with a new puppy.

Hillary's Hound House is great. Hillary herself is so wonderful, welcoming and patient. Her trainings are very practical and pragmatic. Dogs are dogs and Hillary gets each and everyone. What I really appreciate about Hillary's training is, professional dog trainers train my dog during the week so the dog learned the training then on Saturday I learned the commands and felt immediately successful because our dog had already had so much training she knew what to do even if I was still learning how to do it. This type of training is so smart and rewarding for both myself and our puppy. Hillary and her staff so easily and naturally build a dog family community. Throigh Hillarys Hpund House we connected with several other families who also had a new puppy where we can have puppy playdates. However, the thing I love most about Hillary's Hound House is just how much Hillary and her staff love our dog. Every single person knows Finnleigh and what she loves most and Finnleigh absolutely loves them also. I would highly recommend Hillary's Hound House for anyone who has a new puppy.
