We’ve had multiple awesome experiences with Lauren! Our dog was pretty nervous the first time she arrived to take him for a walk, but she spent so much time calmly gaining his trust and was able to get him on leash and out of the house. Our dog was not the best leash walker, but she has worked with him on pulling and even recommended different leashing systems for us to use for his breed. She recently spent a weekend dog sitting for us and she was so attentive and wonderful that our neighbor asked for her contact info once we got home!

We love Lauren!! She has helped my 2.5 year old German Shepard/Great Pyrenees mix become less reactive on leash. I was having to walk my dog in unpopulated places because she would lunge at other dogs. Now because of Laurens training and expertise we are able to take walks regularly through places as busy and populated as the old mill and enjoy it. With Lauren’s guidance she has helped my dog become a better girl and taught me how to be a better manager for my dog. Lauren was just the best in working with my "wild child" Golden Retriever pup, Ellie. Lauren and I met before the lessons started to establish what I wanted Ellie to be able to do at the end of her training...a big goal was to be able to go on off-leash hikes with Ellie. In just a few sessions of Lauren working one-on-one with Ellie, we've been able to go from total mayhem on-leash to a daily 3 mile off-leash hike! I didn't think it was possible after Ellie got kicked out of puppy class with another trainer. What really impressed me is that Lauren was so kind and firm in working with Ellie (and me!). She also made great suggestions on collars and leashes that have been life changers. Lauren is amazing. We met 2 years ago in Old Mill and I knew instantly she was the right person to care for my dobermans. Both Dante and Charlie took to her, which is saying something because my dogs are extremely selective with others. Charlie can be a bit aggressive and intimidating. Lauren handled her with affection and ease. After just one walk, she could come to the house and both Charlie and Dante were excited to go with her. She is the only professional that I trust to stay with my dogs over night. She is reliable, capable, and loving. Lauren is the perfect combination and I trust her completely.
