There’s not really a span of words from the English language that can come together to really give Highland the true credit they deserve. The staff is amazing. They don’t put up with nonsense, and if certain students are found abusing illegal substances, or causing a distraction from those trying to learn, it’s dealt with accordingly. This is a school for Dog Trainers.... not a place to goof off, and I appreciated that greatly during my tenure at Highland K9! It ensured me that the staff was there to facilitate and learning environment that was and is congruent with the many types of learners (example audio versus visual learners). Jason, Ryan and Amber, Anna and Shana are so passionate in their instructions. Being a Marine that was retired for combat wounds, this school put me in an environment that I felt safe and above all, not judged. Due to my PTSD, the fact that they don’t tolerate nonsense was very constructive to my ability to feel secure at Highland. I would recommend this to anyone and don’t mind the 10% who came here when they weren’t ready. Semper Fi, Ryan Clay, USMC, Retired.
