I can not recommend Shae and Corey and Wyatt enough! We have a working line GSD that is very reactive to other dogs and just ran us over. We sent Ranger up for the 6 week board and train. We picked up a completely made over dog. We were blown away with the amount of control Ranger now has. They walked us through every scenario with Ranger so we could learn as well. Shae was so patient and sent lots of videos and pictures throughout Ranger’s stay and answered the many questions I had. I wish I could express into words here what this transformation has meant to us and Ranger. We can enjoy our dog now. He’s been home a week and we are loving the progress Ranger made. This group went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. If you’re on the fence about training, jump off. This is one of the most positive experiences we’ve ever had with a business. The lifetime support (including additional home visits if needed) is such a confidence booster for us. They are always a phone call way to help any issues for the lifetime of Ranger. Unbelievable! We are just so so happy with this experience. You definitely get what you pay for here. Thank y’all again for getting our boy back to where we can enjoy him again!
Pepper came home a different dog 🐕 in all the BEST of ways. His behavior changes are truly remarkable! Thanks to everyone at Highland Canine Training for loving him while teaching him to obey.
Corey and his team at Highland’s Birmingham, AL location did an amazing job with my shepherd. He went from zero training and a struggle to live with to a dog that is a delight to have at home and out in public. I recommend Highland Canine Training to anyone who asks about where to go. Their staff is amazing, friendly, responsible and dedicated to their work and the dogs they work with.

Gave them an extra star because I was called back by the local instructor within an hour. Expected better facilities and a more professional place for the money they are asking. VA needs to explore this place a little more before paying any funds for training.
