Gabriela is amazing! We went to her for help with our 2yo corgi who is dog-reactive and was exhibiting some resource guarding. Gabriela is patient and empathetic, with an incredible breadth of knowledge about different training paradigms and canine psychology. We are stereotypical millennials who treat our dog basically like our child, and Gabriela understood completely. She followed up every session with extensive notes and resources, and we are amazed at how much progress our little pup has made in just a couple of months. We will recommend Gabriela to anybody in need of supportive, reward-based training.

Gabriela is an experienced and empathetic trainer who helped me through some rescue transition issues with my dog. She was developing some reactivity with other dogs and unexpected objects on our walks. Gabriela and I had four sessions together where she coached me through how to address these challenges with my dog. The greatest bonus in our training was better understanding my dog’s personality and sensitivities. I better understand now the impact of my dog’s physical health on her behavior and how to read her energy so I can be more aware of how she’s feeling. I had tried a different positive reinforcement trainer. What made Gabriela stand out to me was her attention to detail and the notes she sent after each session. I had a clear set of goals to accomplish and things to work on between each session, as well as hand outs for reviewing training techniques. Gabriela also offers easily scheduling and weekend hours. As a person who works 9 to 5 on weekdays and wanted to get the most out of each session, I appreciated that she was available on Saturdays.

Gabriela is not a dog whisperer. She is a dog genius. Her knowledge is vast, her personality is encouraging and her skills are effective. I have a puppy who was causing me a few concerns. Gabriela made me see the positives and recognize the signals he was showing and how to respond. She is full of great ideas and truly dedicated to her craft. I feel much more capable of raising my puppy in a manner that will lead to us both being happy and friends for life.
