Where do I start I apologize for the long review but honestly they are that GOOD! We were a little apprehensive about starting any formal training with our beagle puppy, Benji, at just 8 weeks old. However, Herran's canine services came highly recommended, and we are absolutely blown away by the progress Benji made in such a short time! From our first interaction, the team at Herran's demonstrated incredible expertise and a gentle approach perfectly suited for young puppies. They understood Benji's developmental stage and tailored their methods to his needs. It wasn't about pushing him too hard, but rather about laying a solid foundation for future learning through positive and engaging techniques. We enrolled Benji in their 3 week board and train and the curriculum was fantastic. Herran's focused on crucial early skills like potty training (which has improved dramatically!), crate training, and basic manners. They made learning fun for Benji with short, interactive sessions and plenty of positive reinforcement. What's truly astonishing is how much Benji has already learned. At just now 12 weeks old, he's already responding to his name consistently, starting to grasp the "sit" command, and even understands "Benji come here" during playtime (hide and seek) .We were amazed at how quickly he picked up these early lessons, and we credit Herran's patient and effective methods entirely. The trainers Darshan and Adela at Herran's are clearly passionate about what they do. They provided us with invaluable guidance on puppy development, socialization, and how to continue Benji's training at home. They fostered a supportive and encouraging environment, making us feel confident in our ability to raise a well-adjusted beagle. Herran’s Canine Services is truly exceptional! We started with in-home lessons for our Belgian Malinois after a disappointing experience with another trainer. Understandably, we were hesitant about trying a board-and-train program—but Darshan was incredibly patient, not just with us but, more importantly, with our dog. Eventually, we decided to move forward with the board-and-train, and we couldn’t be happier. Our dog is reactive and not the easiest to work with, but Darshan took the time to help us truly understand our dog’s behavior, quirks, and how to work together effectively. Now, training feels like fun instead of frustration. We still do occasional in-home lessons and only trust Herran’s Canine Services for training and boarding. Our dog adores both Darshan and Adella, and we’ve already recommended them to friends and family—we can’t say enough good things!
