What age does puppy training start?
Puppy training can start as soon as you bring them home! I offer in home lessons for puppies who are too young to be fully vaccinated and puppy lessons for when they are ready to start training at our facility.

We had such a great experience at Helping Hounds. Our trainer was so good with our dog and extremely helpful. The facility is large and has plenty of parking. They are very busy. You should call ahead to be out on the schedule. It seems they are usually a couple weeks out on average. So plan ahead. They offer a lot of other dog related services too and advanced training.

I was reluctant about Dog Training and puppy classes at first, but after my first visit with Helping Hounds, owner and staff I realized that I needed their expertise to assist in making my dog happy, confident, and have great manors. I not only signed up for private puppy classes and puppy pandemic class. My dog will start academy next week. I could not be happier with how Helping Hounds treats my dog like he is one of their own and you can tell how happy and well rounded he is because they are part of his training!

I cannot recommend HH enough!! Our puppy Max showed signs of aggression towards other dogs and was spastic and anxious, and we were at a loss for how to adjust to life with him (even though we loved him dearly!!). We started with the Board and Train program, followed by several months of group classes, and now send him there for daycare and boarding. The expert trainers are knowledgeable, accommodating, and always go above and beyond. Max is thriving with the tools and skills that HH have taught us!
My Aussiedoodle, Ollie just turned 10 months, and because of Helping Hounds Dog Training he has learned so much. I’m so happy that I chose Helping Hounds. Bre, Gabby, and Danielle are amazing at training. Ollie loves you girls, and so do I, and he is missing you all!!
