I can’t say enough good things about working with Heidi! From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely understands dogs—and their humans. We brought our dog to her for leash training after a very unsuccessful and unpleasant few weeks with another training company in the city who used forceful training. Our dog was terrified and extremely anxious. Heidi was amazing and after just a few sessions, the difference was night and day. Heidi’s approach is calm, positive, and super effective. She took the time to explain not just what to do, but why it works, which helped us stay consistent at home.

I don’t know how to put this into words without tearing up from sheer joy and gratitude—Heidi is a miracle worker. When I first brought my doodle home, she had the energy of a caffeinated toddler and the manners of a raccoon at a picnic. Walks turned into tug-of-war tournaments, visitors were greeted with leaps of love (and fur), and forget about basic commands—“sit” was just a suggestion. Then came Heidi. From the first session, it was clear: this wasn’t just training, it was transformation. Heidi has a gift—not just with dogs, but with us humans too. She helped me understand the “why” behind the behaviors and gave me practical tools that actually worked. Fast forward to today, my doodle is not only well-mannered—she’s a fully trained movie star (seriously, she just wrapped her first commercial!). She can hit her mark, follow commands like a pro, and even stay focused with lights, cameras, and chaos swirling around her. None of this would’ve been possible without Heidi. Heidi is a miracle worker! We were at our wits’ end with our strong-willed miniature pinscher puppy, Tula—especially when she refused to let us catch her to put on a leash. In just two visits, Heidi had us trained! She helped us understand Tula’s behavior and gave us the tools we needed to manage her. Tula is still full of sass and personality, but thanks to Heidi, we’re confident and equipped to handle her now. Highly recommend!
