I recently had the pleasure of working with Susan to help me address some behavioral issues with my two dogs. I was impressed by her patience, friendliness, and enthusiasm throughout the entire process. Susan took the time to understand my dogs' unique personalities, and she tailored her approach accordingly. She also took the time to understand me and how I interacted with my dogs. She then offered clear and concise suggestions, modeled them for me, and then watched me practice them. One of the things I appreciated most about Susan was her ability to provide feedback in a constructive and supportive manner. She helped me to identify areas where I could improve my training techniques, and she offered practical solutions that I could implement immediately. In addition to her in-person training sessions, Susan also provided a wealth of follow-up reading materials. This was incredibly helpful as it allowed me to continue learning and refining my training skills even after our sessions had ended. Thanks to Susan's expertise and dedication, my dogs have made significant progress in their behavior. Susan is a treasure, I highly, highly recommend her! I was in a unique situation. My husband, son and I were fostering 3 newborn rescue puppies from 2 different litters (it’s a complicated story! 😀) As the puppies got older, more energetic and more active, I realized that I needed help with best practices for raising them. So I reached out to Susan. One thing that impressed me right away is that Susan responded to my initial email in 3 hours and made arrangements to come to our house 2 days after my initial contact. For our first meeting, Susan really took the time to listen to what was going on for us and she really did get it. Then she helped us lay out a plan on what to do. The plan was easy to follow and felt very doable for us, those things were huge! In subsequent sessions, Susan continued in the same way with us. She always made sure that we understood the plan for the next few days and always took time to answer our questions. Susan has great people skills, great communication skills and broad and extensive knowledge about dogs and puppies! You will be really glad that you spent time with her!!

Susan's many years of studying dog behavior and hands-on experience are evident. No question she's an expert. We love her approach - always positive, gentle, and funny. She seems to understand how Andy thinks, which I think is amazing. And what she has been teaching us to do is actually working! She follows up a session with a detailed email, and quickly responds to any questions I might have, including helpful ideas, articles, and videos that apply to what we're working on. Susan was recommended by a friend soon after I rescued Andy, and I'm SO glad I didn't put this on hold.

I've been working with Susan for several months now and she has been an absolute life saver. I've had some challenges with a high energy Pomeranian puppy and was struggling to know if his behaviors were normal and how best to manage them. Susan has been very responsive and a pleasure to work with since the first day I contacted her. She is so great with our puppy (who absolutely loves her) and she always has so many insightful observations and tips for us for training.
