Heart & Soul Dog Training

I am sorry that is what you took from our training together, especially since you told me (and posted online) about how happy you were with the training and your dog's progress. You came to 13 private sessions, 12 group classes, and 11 days of board & train. You logged into the online course 7 times.<br><br>Yes, I did have to sit during some of the group classes. Rich was there, as were our other trainers, walking around and helping as needed. I was there also, helping people as they came up to me, or I got to them. However, unfortunately, my disability prevented me from being able to stand during an hour plus session in the heat. Which is why we had multiple trainers available to help.<br><br>As to building on your service dog in training's skills, yes, Lure & Capture are fantastic ways to train your dog. We would discuss ways you could do this, for example, you could lure your dog over your lap. Or you could capture when your dog does something you like, for example, back up.<br><br>You did stay after group class multiple times, for hours, while we chatted and I offered suggestions to help your service dog in training, as well as the other dog in home, as they did not get along with each other. Your puppy can only work so long at one time. Working an hour in the heat of summer with him was enough. He was done. We could not work him any longer. However, I could - and did - help give you guidance and advice on how to continue your training at home.<br><br>After your service dog in training got into a fight with one of the other dogs in the house, causing the other dog to lose an eye, we took the other dog into board & train to help him. We invited the other dog out during private sessions and group classes so they could work on getting along.<br><br>I have not mentioned you or your dog on social media, especially in a rude and derogatory way. I would not do that.<br><br>As to treating your family poorly, I am confused as to when that could possibly have occurred. You and your mother were amazingly fantastic, and we all enjoyed spending time together. You both had offered to help set up for our non profits fundraiser, and came out to work on the donation jar, the sign, and table decorations. Afterwards, your mother offered to be in charge of the kitchen during our service dog school, to which she was greatly appreciated and thanked numerous times by many people, including Rich and I.<br><br>I don't understand, if you were so unhappy with us and our training, why you volunteered to help with our non profit, why you signed up for the additional training school, why your mother offered to help in the kitchen, and why you sent the second dog to us for board & train.<br><br>You had mentioned me on your podcast, about how thrilled you were with us and our training program, along with the help and support we offered. You called me "an amazing trainer." "My wonderful trainer Victoria, she's fantastic guys." You stated you had worked with several trainers before me, and "her insight on what to do with them is just something I've never seen from anywhere else." "She is the reason Finn is so amazing." At our first training session, you mentioned that it was 2 hours, and a lot of that was you learning while he slept on the floor. Which is true, it is the owner who needs to be trained as well as the dog.<br>**********<br>ETA- the above is a response to the reviewers previous post, based on our response, you can see what she complained about before.
