I had high hopes for Grease Gorillaz, a cleaning service famous for training actual gorillas to operate their machines. I was expecting a quirky, efficient experience—what I got was the most terrifying cardio workout of my life. When I arrived, I was greeted (if you can call it that) by a massive silverback working the till. I made the unfortunate mistake of looking him directly in the eye, which, as I now understand, is a grave offense in gorilla etiquette. Within seconds, he let out an ear-splitting roar, and before I knew it, the entire staff of gorillas was chasing me full-speed down the road. I never even got to see how well they cleaned. But judging by the smears of banana on the glass and the vacuum left abandoned mid-job, I suspect their training might still need some work. I won’t be returning (mostly because I fear for my life), but if you do decide to visit, bring bananas and avoid eye contact at all costs.
