Haus Luc K9, Inc

We just got Penny, our ~8mo golden, back from Haus Luc today. They delivered her along with a couple hours of "human training" to enable us to maximize the time and effort they put into training her. Built on the foundation they provide of puppy training at 6 months, they returned her to us a happy, well-mannered, eager to please dog. Penny's results were astonishing. For example, I took her for a walk this afternoon and it was like driving a brand new car compared to our experience before. We are suddenly an off-lead family. Justin and his daughter are incredible. We sent our 1 year old golden retriever to them for three weeks for a board-and-train, and it was the best money we’ve ever spent on her! Two specific examples: 1) She used to jump and whine and go crazy every time we got home. It was hard to get in the door because she was so excited and wouldn’t stop jumping. Now, we tell her to go to “place” (her dog bed) and she patiently sits there wagging her tail waiting for us to come to her! We even had a refrigerator delivery/install recently and she laid down in “place” for almost an hour. The delivery guys didn’t even know there was a dog in the house. 2) She used to hawk my toddler at the dinner table, waiting for him to drop food and she would immediately lunge for it when it hit the floor. Now, she lays down either in “place” or under the table, and if food drops to the floor she just looks at it until she’s given permission to eat it. If she’s told to “leave it”, she does. We highly recommend Haus Luc!

We took our Belgian Malinois Delta to Haus Luc K9 and it was a fantastic decision. We were looking for a trainer that specialized in working line breeds like Malinois, Shepherds and labs and Justen and his facility matched perfectly. We enrolled her in there puppy class/3 week board and train package. Justen was very straightforward from the beginning and pointed us in the right direction for after training to continue to build on her skill set and keeping her driven and happy. She thrived with Justen's daughter Jamie, she is a fantastic trainer and was able to answer all our questions and then some. This is a family run business that truly cares about your pet, keeps you informed and updated on everything during your pet's stay.
