FirstBarkAaron was very professional and clear in his approach to training our leash reactive pit bull mix. In only three sessions Aaron taught us how to use a shock collar to help our dog behave well on leash, in environments with many other dogs.

I only wished I had found him earlier. Arron mastered his stills as a dog trainer!

I have owned/rescued dogs for over 40 years, many different breeds and sizes. Through those years also many different trainers, needless to say I have learned a lot. I currently have 3 dogs, a 80 lb bull terrier mix, a small poodle and a rescued 55 lb pitbull from the humane society about 18 months ago. Tyson’s not my first pitbull but he has been my most challenging on leash, very prey driven and dog aggressive. He loves my other two dogs and is the sweetest most gentle pup inside my home, carrying around his favorite toys and wagging his tail. With him I tried all of my usual tricks on leash and nothing worked, I was getting frustrated that in over a year of trying different training techniques nothing came close to working. That’s when I found Aaron, he called back quickly and we set up a time for him to come evaluate Tyson. He brought his black shepard just to see how mine would react to her. He recommended an e-collar for him and seeing I had tired every other method I agreed. Literally 3 lessons later, Tyson walks right next to me, checks in with me a lot and is much more calm on leash even when he sees other dogs. Before Aaron’s training I would always turn around or go a different way when we encountered other dogs on our walks, now I actually look forward to using the training we had and confidently walk with him knowing he’s not going to quickly escalate, the e-collar is a game changer, for sure. Aaron says the key is consistency, which is on me as his person and I’m happy to do that because I can easily see that it works! I’m so grateful every day and every walk that Tyson now feels more comfortable and confident on our adventures. 10/10 highly recommend
