We can’t say enough great things about Dale, Tracy, and the whole team at Happy Gentle Dogs. They were amazing with our two pups, Phineas & Alfred. We always knew they were so well taken care of with frequent check ins and updates. Our dogs were truly transformed in the few short weeks they were at Happy Gentle Dogs. They came back confident and calm! Our daycare at home even asked for Dale’s info because they were so impressed! We wouldn’t trust anyone else.

I rescued my Golden Retriever, Buttermilk Biscuit, and quickly realized she was afraid of everything. She struggled to make good choices on her own, and the world felt like a very scary place for her. The team at Happy Gentle Dog Dale, Tracy, Madi, and Gabriella are truly the ABSOLUTE BEST. Their communication, whether weekly or even daily when needed, eased my mind and heart while Butter spent six months at the Ranch. The education and training Butter and I received went far beyond anything I could have imagined. I’m thrilled to say that Butter is now confident, cognitive, and discovering that the world is a wonderful, happy playground instead of something to fear. Butter and I are now part of the Happy Gentle Dog family for life. This is not a business that trains your dog and sends you on your way, never to speak again. This is family and family is forever. You and your four-legged baby will never be forgotten. It’s no wonder so many people travel from out of state to have their precious pups trained by the BEST. I have now worked with HGD with 2 of my dogs! Their training program helped me understand reactivity and I will never see dog behaviors the same way again. Extremely eye opening. From leash pulling to dog aggression, Maddie worked with us directly and gave us lots of homework (yay!) to do with our pups that proved to be extremely successful for both. I could not be more grateful to have had their education and support!

About six months ago I adopted a Boston Terrier. I fell in love with her immediately. However, after the “Honeymoon” phase she began to exhibit some aggressive behaviors that were very troubling. After a time I felt I might have to surrender her back to the adoption agency. However they gave me hope by recommending that I talk with Dale at the Happy Gentle Dog Place. Fortunately it was not far from where I live and I was able to take my Evie there for an assessment. I knew after being there a short time that I wanted my little girl to receive the amazing benefit of their training. Everyone that I interacted with was kind and encouraging. Five weeks later I brought home a pup with a totally different personality and I learned to communicate so that she understood me. I am so very grateful to each person that worked with Evie and helped her deal with her fears and insecurities. For this opportunity I am forever grateful.
