Dale, Tracy and their team are truly masters at their craft! They have genuine passion for their work and it's evident in the level of care they provide and the results they yield. Dale and Tracy have trained three dogs for my family and they have also trained dogs for our extended family and friends. All three of our dogs received training from Dale and Tracy when they were puppies. They each had different and unique needs and areas with with they struggled. With all three, Dale and team were able to help our dogs overcome so much and learn to manage themselves and their emotions. When we have been out with our dogs, people routinely tell us how well behaved and trained they are. We give all credit to Dale because it is his work with them that opened the door for us to be able to have happy and content dogs who obey and follow commands. Dale and Tracy infuse so much love and care into their work. They are trying to transform your pet into a happy and gentle dog but they also embody those qualities themselves - they treat your dog gently and they infuse a lot of fun and happiness into the learning process. They have taken the best care of our pets and loved them just as much as we do! We have contacted Dale on several occasions about various scenarios with our dogs and he is always willing to guide us or provide any recommendations he can. We also love that Dale, Tracy and team insist on educating owners and in a sense train us a little on how to work with our pets. The time we spent with them learning about dogs and specifically our dogs has been invaluable to us! We felt equipped to continue the training when we brought or dogs home and we also felt like we had a cheat sheet into why our dogs exhibited certain behaviors and how to discourage or stop them. Additionally, we have boarded our dogs with Happy Gentle Dogs on numerous occasions and it is the best feeling knowing they are having fun and being cared for so well. We cannot say enough good things about our experiences with Dale, Tracy and their whole crew! I would recommend Dale, Tracy, and their team at Happy Gentle Dog (HGD) for any dog with a behavioral issue. They use positive reinforcement methods to coach your dog to be confident with the goal of being a Happy Gentle Dog. I am impressed with the love and dedication they have to the dogs in their care and their humans. They spend a lot of time with the humans on how to train, handle and interact with their dog. They truly show how caring they are by the time they take to educate to improve the relationship of the dog with the humans in their life. I experienced the success of their training with a stray dog our team captured, we named her Sookie. Sookie had an injured foot and an unknown past. She immediately bonded with her foster mom and totally trusted only her. She had fear aggression towards anyone else that entered her space. Sookie entered HGD’s program and had steady progress improving her confidence and starting to make cognitive decisions on her own. Our entire team was able to interact with her only after a few weeks. Today, she is confident, cognitive, social, and happy. It is amazing to see her socializing with new people and dogs. I would absolutely recommend Happy Gentle Dog Training to everyone! I was fostering a very elusive and fearful stray little girl our that our organization captured. She was loving and sweet but only with me. This all happened after one week of fostering her. She would only trust me. After several weeks we knew that in order for us to find her a forever home, she was going to need professional help to help her with trust and confidence. Thankfully a co-associate recommended the amazing Team at Happy Gentile Dog Training. It all started with a phone call with Dale. Dale spoke to us for almost an hour and we knew almost immediately that Dale and his team were exactly who we needed to help Sookie. The moment we pulled up at their ranch and I let my girl Sookie out of the vehicle, her tail wagged and I could visibly see her smile. She knew they were going to help her. All of my anxiety was gone in an instant and I knew that she was exactly where she needed to be. A place that would teach her confidence and trust in humans and animals. The very first time my Team members and I returned for a visit , she met everyone with a tail wag and kiss. My Team members and myself were amazed. She didn’t want to bite anyone out of fear. She was a completely different dog. A Happy, gentle dog. She has grown so much and now she is truly a happy girl. If it was not for the Team at Happy Gentile Dog , Dale , Tracy and Maddie, Sookie would have had a difficult future and a forever family would not have the opportunity to see Sookie’s love. A love that only I knew for a long time but that can now be shared with everyone she meets.
