Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kels, Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that your experience didn’t match your expectations. This is the first uncommon instance in my many years of dog training. During the initial consult, I make it very clear to all my clients that puppies will be crate and potty trained as well have a fundamental understanding of basic obedience to complete the program. That doesn't mean they will be completely obedience trained or never have an accident. I sometimes take several more days or even a week longer if needed, at no additional charge, to make sure the puppy is ready. I would never tell a client that no further obedience training would be needed. In fact, I make it clear that it's vital for the OWNER to continue training at home daily. Upon completion of a training program, I always spend at least an hour with the client, just as I did with you and your spouse, demonstrating everything the dog has learned, answering questions and teaching the client how to ask, mark, reward or correct their dog. You and your spouse seemed very pleased, you thanked me, and you paid the full amount of the remaining balance after our one on one session before leaving. I was very surprised to find out you are dissatisfied especially since your wife said the opposite several weeks ago. When I texted her a week after training ended to schedule the private, in-home follow-up she responded, "we are doing well and don't need a follow up." I informed her that if she changed her mind to please contact me to schedule. I also spoke to your son in law the day after they picked up their puppy upon your spouse’s request. He didn’t know why the puppy could be barking and not listening to them. Being that neither he nor your daughter were able to be here to get the same one on one your received I offered to get on a Zoom call whenever they needed to help them with that puppy. Unfortunately, they decided to rehome it instead. My training agreement, which your spouse signed, clearly states that there are no refunds once training has begun. However, I’m always happy to help my clients with any issue that may arise regardless of how long ago I trained the dog if the issue is something that was addressed during training. I tell all my clients to feel free to contact me anytime if they're unsure of anything or have any questions about their dogs’ training. I make it a point to go above and beyond for all my clients. These are all things that I clearly explained to you and your spouse. I would still be happy to help you with Winnie as I offer lifetime support.
