What do your services include?

We provide board and train and boarding services 365 days per year in our home. All pups get to enjoy our 5-acre yard, receive complimentary access to our indoor pool, and will receive chauffeur service to and from Happy Pup Manor within 1 hour. All pups go home with a complimentary bath, and board and train programs include a go-home lesson in your home.

What exactly happens during my dog’s stay?

Your pup follows a schedule. Each morning, we take the pups outside to play. They’re free to run around our fenced backyard or relax in or by the saltwater pool, always supervised by a Happy Pup Manor team member. They enjoy two mealtimes, one in the morning and evening, and return to their crates around 10pm. Throughout their stay, your pup will socialize with the other dogs and, if you so choose, can participate in individual swimming lessons or other amenities.

I used HPM to train my dog in 2024 and was excited to board him there for 12 days whil I travel internationally. Since it had been a while since Cinco had been there I sent an email giving an update on his health and wellness. I advised that he needed supervision with other dogs and was able to regulate himself if the play was too much for his sensitive breathing due to his larynx being constricted. I also said he shouldn’t be in the outdoors too long if it’s too hot. I received a call today (4 days before my trip) and spoke to Nancy who advised that Cinco was not a match for HPM. She did not even ask a single question about him - just abruptly said they didn’t want him. After pressing she said well next week it’s going to be hot. I questioned the safety of any dog being out all day in 90 degree temps and humidity and she did not say anything. She was extremely rude to me and very abrupt not caring one bit about leaving me in a major pinch before my trip. I had also asked to speak to the owner who had made this decision and was only allowed to speak to Nancy. I have referred people to them but not anymore. I also noticed their indeed reviews and it looks like they don’t treat their employees the best. There are six reviews with an overall 1 star rating.

We understand the frustration of a canceled reservation, and we don't take that decision lightly.<br><br>For transparency to anyone reading: this reservation was canceled after we were informed, five days out, that a young pug had already undergone airway surgery the previous year. Pugs are a flat-faced breed already prone to breathing difficulty, and the booking fell on a hot weekend. Heat plus a compromised airway is a combination that can turn dangerous, even fatal, very quickly.<br><br>We, Gabby and the team, declined the stay and turned down your reservation. We would rather lose him as part of our pack than risk a dog struggling to breathe in our care.<br><br><br>That standard isn't going to change, and any owner who trusts us with their pet should know it's exactly the judgment we'll apply to theirs. We truly wish you and your pup all the best

Our six month old goldendoodle did a three week boarding training with Julie and the results were phenomenal. Being first time dog owners, we had no idea where to start with training! Teddy came back able to follow basic commands, fully potty trained, good leash manners, and minimal barking! We loved our experience and will definitely be sending him back for boarding!

Our puppy had such a great time at Happy Pup Manor during his training. We saw a real difference in his leash training and overall manors. When Autumn brought him back home when his training was complete, she was very helpful and patient teaching our family the tools we need to continue his training at home. Definitely feel comfortable sending him back for boarding when needed.

We purchased a puppy and had him stay with Happy Pup for the first month before taking him home. It was SO hard to wait to bring him home but it was absolutely worth it! The staff was amazing at Happy Pup! We got almost daily updates and anytime we needed questions answered they were right on top of things! Tracy was our main trainer we had an incredible experience with her! She delivered our puppy to our home and spent almost 2 hours teaching us how to continue working with him. We have a 5 year old who can be easily distracted and she was super patient working with him (and all of us actually). I was slightly nervous about introducing our older dog to the puppy. With Tracy’s help, our older dog and new puppy had a wonderful first time meeting and continue to get along well! Thank you so much Happy Pup for taking such great care of our little guy!!!
