Happy Heart Pet Care

So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.

I could not have asked for a better duo than Matthew and Anna Marie to help take care of and train my puppy. They actually care so much about every dog they take in. I was initially hesitant to leave Loki with strangers but they have done everything to make me feel comfortable. I receive picture and video updates throughout the day and my dog always looks like he's having a great time. What is also absolutely amazing is that ANYTIME I've had a question or concern about Loki, Matthew has been available to help me out...even if he wasn't taking care of my dog that particular day. I'm so grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care.

Anna Marie and Matthew have been so incredible with my two dogs. One has been going to training with them for about six months. He's gone from a skittish, nervous pup to a brave lion, and it makes me so happy to see how much better adapted he's becoming! The best part is that Anna Marie and Matthew also give me training tips to practice at home for consistency. Both pups go for boarding, and I swear when I go to pick them up, they don't want to leave. I love receiving text videos and updates while I'm traveling, and coordinating pickup/dropoff is a breeze. There is no substitute for peace of mind that when you're traveling, your pups are receiving even better care than they would at home. Both Anna Marie and Matthew are warm, supportive, and have an incredible sense of humor - so important when you've got a pup who is a bit of a challenge. With patience, persistence, and a little elbow grease I've seen so much improvement already. So grateful to be a part of this pack!
