Hi Kristin, We've had many shy dogs gain confidence in our classes. Sometimes, however, the group class environment can be overwhelming for some fearful dogs. HGL is an absolutely wonderful local dog training facility with the best staff. All instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and really enjoy working with dogs and their humans. It's compassionate training based on rewarding positive behavior rather than punishing your dog for being a dog. Special shout out to Heather who is the absolute best.
Just completed a beginner obedience class here with my husband and 7mo old rescue pup. We had a great experience overall. This was an awesome opportunity to practice training with the distractions of other people and dogs and with the support of 2 very talented trainers. I highly recommend Happy Go Lucky!
I wish Happy Go Lucky was recommended as the first puppy training I heard of! They are amazing and provide a great environment and instruction in a happy safe group setting, and even personalized coaching. Highly recommend.
Happy Go Lucky has been instrumental in helping us train and engage with our young, high energy dog. The trainers are very experienced and helped our dog learn impulse control, leash manners and more confidence in social play.
