What a great experience with Bob and Happy Dog Training Academy! I recently adopted my dog Oscar after he’d spent over 500 days in a shelter and before that was a stray. He was a blank canvas of sorts, and I didn’t want him to learn my other dogs less than perfect behaviors. I was hesitant to send him anywhere after the life, he’d had prior. I did a lot of research and found Happy Dog Training Academy-after reading all of Bob’s amazing reviews, I decided to reach out. Bob called me immediately and spent so much time listening to me, my concerns, and learning about Oscar. He was so generous with his time and patient to hear and understand my concerns that I was sure it was the right decision. Bob’s genuine love of dogs and his knowledge was clearly evident. He works with your dog as long as is needed for them to learn all the set foundational commands. And, in my case Oscar needed a little more time than the average:) His diligence and commitment to providing you and your pup with a successful experience demonstrated for me just how much he genuinely cares. I looked forward to his updates-always timely as promised; they put a smile on my husband and my faces seeing how well Oscar was doing and progressing and how well he was caring (and loving) for my boy. It set my mind at ease! Lastly, and I think the best part, I had never done a board and train program, and I wasn’t sure how the transition would work. That’s when it all came together (for me). Bob comes to your home environment and teaches you how to continue the training. Passing the baton and ensuring you have the tools for continued success. Again, so patient. Bob listened to all my questions to help tailor Oscar’s teaching to “real life” at my house. And he offers a life time guarantee and encourages you to call him at ANY point where it may seem you need help or just have additional questions. I feel so confident moving forward and knowing I made the very best decision for both Oscar and my family finding and choosing Bob and Happy Dog Training Academy. I cannot recommend Bob enough! As others have said, he is a master of his craft-for both the pups and their humans!

We recently completed the board and train with Bob for our dog Sully, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Sully has made remarkable progress in such a short time. His obedience, focus, and overall behavior have improved dramatically. Georgie came to us through a rescue as a stray. He quickly showed signs of needing solid boundaries and structure. Bob returned a completely different dog 3 weeks later. Georgie is now very content, loves going through the training exercises we learned from Bob, and is in my opinion, his best self. Bob has been great to work with, very communicative, very flexible, and continues to help answer questions when we have them. I highly recommend Happy Dog, and can't say enough good things. A quick update after 9 months: this was easily the best money I've spent on my dog. Walks are more enjoyable than ever; Georgie is happy, and confident. The more time I spend with him, the better he gets. I've reached out to Bob a few times since his training, and he still is happy to help out.
