Happy Dog Training Academy

Bob did a great job training our dog over the course of 21 days. We have a one and a half year old boxer that was a good boy but very reactive. Taking him on walks was a nightmare as we always encountered other dogs or things that would make Harvey react. After a lot of research, we found Bob and his team. They frequently sent us videos, pictures, and texts to update us. When Harvey came home he was like a different dog in regards to reactivity. Bob spent lot of time at drop off teaching us so we can continue to work with our dog. We are so excited to see continued progress!!

My experience, as well as my dog’s experience, with Happy Dog Training Academy was amazing. I recently moved to Charleston and could tell my dog had been stressed because of it - acting out, not obeying basic commands that she once knew - and I knew I had to find a solution and fast. I came across Happy Dog Training Academy and read their amazing reviews, but after my initial conversation with Bob, I knew I had picked the right place. He walked me through the entire process, listened to all of my concerns, and made me feel like I was a part of the board and train even while not physically there. His communication was great throughout the entire three weeks, updating me with her progress or any issues that may have arisen. Once she officially graduated the program (yay!), Bob was once again amazing in training me - ha! He walked me through everything they had achieved over the last three weeks, how the new equipment works, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident with the new lifestyle changes before he left. I cannot say enough good things about Bob and Happy Dog Training Academy. I look forward to seeing how my pup continues to progress as we continue to work on it! 😊

Where do I start?! A few years ago I was dog sitting and got to see Bobs work in action, before and after the two dogs went to his camp. They came back with the same personality but able to be communicated with! Now when my dog needed training I made sure to find Bob! Bob is very enthusiastic in what he does and absolutely does an amazing job! Throughout the whole process, we were kept up to date on sparrows progress and given advice on how to start our progress too! He keeps everything realistic and goes above and beyond. I really can’t thank him enough or recommend him enough. I can’t wait to continue not just training our dog but communication with him as well!

If you are willing to commit 1+ hours to watching TikTok videos, and you love your dog enough to spend all that $$ on kooky harnesses - save both of yourselves the frustration and do what I should've done in the first place. Working with Bob was an incredibly worthwhile investment. The hour we spent demonstrated how the knowledge he was sharing, the training methods he was demonstrating and the plan he suggested would deliver results, which he and I both accomplished with my Lottie in just an hour together. He also offers follow up support via text/phone at no cost which says something about his integrity and how he stands behind the work we did with my dog. Bob's also a super nice guy, pleasant to have in your home and very professional. I will be recommending him to anyone in the area looking for guidance on how to be the best dog dad/mom they can be.
