Happy Dog Basic Obedience

I learned so much from Dawn, even though I have taken many classes with my puppies, and read many books about dog training over the years. She has just the right amount of sternness to guide us, the trainers. She truly seems committed to helping your relationship with your dog thrive, and was very encouraging, even though my puppy often discourages me! Her pricing is very reasonable, and it is very convenient that most lessons she comes to your house / front yard.

Dog trainers abound.....A DOG BEHAVIORALIST IS TRULY ONE OF A KIND! Dawn Lawrence came into our lives highly recommended, but TEN STARS ARE NOT ENOUGH.....She totally understands the psychology of the animal (dealing with manifold different breeds) and then customizes her teaching regime to that animal's special and specific needs. As well, Dawn teaches the "parents" to understand the behavioral traits of the animal and to customize the program to that dog. We asked Dawn to simultaneously handle two boxer pups, brother and sister and she did not hesitate even for a moment to say "yes." To follow was a personalized program for each of our babies, as their personalities, learning traits and demeanor are quite different. Do Not Search Further Than Dawn Lawrence.....She Is Just The BEST.

BEWARE!!! READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING IT!! See photos attached "No Refunds - regardless of circumstance". RED FLAG!!! What does that mean exactly? "Regardless of circumstance"?!! Dawn requires payment in advance for 5 half-hour sessions, AND, her contract says basically that SHE CAN DO WHATEVER SHE FEELS LIKE DOING - like canceling the sessions AND keeping your money - REGARDLESS. Not thinking that a honest person would take my money and not show up, I signed the contract and paid her as required. Surprisingly, she repeatedly cancelled our appointments. She had every excuse imaginable to cancel. She arrived on our second appointment and couldn't recall how many we have completed, and, the 4 out of 5 appointments were only 15-20 minutes long, not the 30 minutes that was in the contract. When she cancelled the 4th appointment, I requested a refund for the 4th and 5th appointment because I was tired of her constantly cancelling. She responded promising that she will show up. She managed to show up for the 4th session, but then texted to cancel the last session. This has been the pattern since i first started the trainings with her, and it is terrible business practice and honestly, my dog was not trained whatsoever. She sent me a refund of $10 for travel expenses instead of my balance of $33.80 that is due to me. I voided the check and demanded my full refund for the last session that SHE cancelled. I am waiting for her response to my demand and will give an update! See photos attached.
